He has always used his humour as a way to defuse harsh emotions, and certainly he has caused angry men to consider how ridiculous their stubbornness was looking from outside from time to time. The baron is actually a fairly nice guy. I can see when he thinks I'm taking things too far, and quickly change up my approach to humour. We have an understanding. Now if I were to take it too far, I'd expect to be punished, as is the right of the Baron to do so. Probably time in the stocks.
