- Lyyr was a fisherman from Layor who settled in the village of Jël after he was rescued by locales following a shipwreck. He manages the rooming house and cooks most of the meals.

History
- Established in 394 YG, the Northmen's Hall became a regular hangout for foreign sailors and fishermen whom made port in the small hamlet. Lyyr expanded the original house into a proper hall with 24 beds.
