- Is'd is first and foremost a dedicated priest of Ryla. His connections to the local government through his position gives him access to various individuals and their secrets. He has been recruited by a member of the Ronth family to spy on and report about the activities of the Solus family in Kayb'r Aihi. Is'd justifies his actions to himself, as rooting out impiety amongst those ruling the city, the money he is paid makes it easier for him to overlook his own small sins.
