Sasi Gekok is an arcane chantry dedicated to earth magics. it is also known amongst the arcanist guild as a safe haven for those escaping the persecution of religious zealotry. At first glance it appears to be a monastic commune of Peolu which has significant farm lands dedicated to the production of fruits, vegetables, and grains. Their produce includes wine and ale.

Sasi Gekok - Last Hearth is the oldest surviving esoteric chantry in Quzonia. The current name is a reference to its endurance in the face of extinction by the church.

This chantry provides lodgings for travelling guild members as well as a safe refuge for those with sorcerous or psychic abilities.

Approximately two dozen journeyperson sorcerers and sorceresses are members of the chantry. Half of which are in residence.

Apprentices

A large number of apprentices and novitiates reside at the chantry. Studies in both the arcane arts and the teachings of the Goddess Peolu are balanced with labour in the fields, orchards, and vineyards.

History

The chantry was first formed in 53 BG, and is the last surviving chantry within the borders of Quzonia, The presence of a monastic order of Peolu within the walls provides both disguise and protection from the more militant faithful of Ryla. Over the centuries of co-existence with the growing religion, the Chantry has evolved into a place of compromise and diplomacy between the church and the arcanist guild, even if this remains a secret pact.
