- A twin sea stack joined by a natural stone arch located at the entrance to a small cove. A few dozen cedar trees crown the islands, and the steep cliffs are home to a colony of cliff swoops.

- Jël, Karelëa Province, Kythus
- The Seagate is located at the entrance to the cove containing the hamlet of Jël. It forms a natural breakwater, protecting the small hamlet from the worst weather.

- A series of steep, near vertical, steps eroded into the side of the north island one brave enough to take the risk of falling to climb to the top of the islands.
History
- The Seagate has served as a landmark for locating the cove by fishers for as long as there has been a settlement. Local superstitions assert that sailing or rowing a small boat through the gate brings good fortune for the sailors or fisherfolk aboard the vessel, but only when leaving port. The water surrounding the islands is shallow and rocky, making the stunt dangerous in anything but the calmest of seas and high tides.
