Appearance

Fahdel is mostly bald, with white hair, and trimmed beard. He has blue eyes, has a deep scar on his left cheek and is missing the lobe of his left ear. The years have not been kind as whatever handsome features he may have had in his youth are lost behind wrinkles, liver spots, and a bulbous nose shot through with red veins. He dresses in fairly plain woolen clothes, with a rich sable coloured fur cape. He still carries a sword at his side, despite using a cane to assist his walking.

Personality

Fahdel is a man driven by pride and envy. His desire to have what other had, and to leave a proper legacy was the prime motivation for claiming his own territory. He is also a shred tactician, and has a good head for numbers. His memory isn't what it used to be, given his age, but his wits are still sharp. Most people would describe him as a good leader, who was fair if somewhat stern. Fahdel has little tolerance for incompetence.

History

Fahdel Ta'rel was a mercenary captain from Aralia who headed the Golden Tra Company. He convinced his company to pool all their wealth and to found a new independent nation on the Northeastern shores of the Torcastan Sea. He ruled the micronation for a period of 25 years before abdicating the position and declaring his grandson Jahlar Ta'rel his heir to the throne.
