History

Following the absence of her father in her early teens, Baleva left her home to find solace in the church. She became an acolyte at the age of twelve, was ordained at eighteen, and joined the order of the Seven Sorrows a decade later in 793 YG. Now she travels about Kythus accompanied by her senior inquisitor, Päbrüthäna, visiting different parishes to investigate rumours of heresy within the church, and external threats to the faith. Together they have solved more and handful of crises.

Baleva is a devoted student, and very loyal towards her mentor. As such she has become privy to some of his secrets, namely his psychic abilities. She has become increasingly suspicious of Päbrüthäna's occasional shifts in personality, but hasn't pinned down the cause of his erratic behaviours.
