- A shrivelled husk of his former self this old man is bent and wizened. He has thin wispy white hair, and a lengthy beard. His eyes are blue and nearly blind by cataracts. He dresses in fine silk robes, predominantly in shades of blue and green. He uses a short walking staff decorated with a large blue aquamarine stone.
Personality
- Welsëna is a clever and duplicitous man. Outwardly he acts like any old noble, proud of his family heritage and success. He talks about leaving his legacy to his grandson as though he has lived a good life, and is ready to shed this mortal coil at any time. However his apparent contentment as he reaches the end of life is a charade, and beneath it he is terrified of the thought that death is the end. He will do anything to extend his time, and is desperate for solutions.
