About
- Tola's Chapel is a church to Peolu built in the style of a large Malys house.
Location
- Two Moon Lake, Sand Tra Clanhold, Plains of Tekara
- The chapel is located on the bank of a small doubled ox bow lake formed by the meandering bends of the Malys River.
Services Provided
- Worship Services
- Those members of the clanhold who have accepted the Twinned Goddess as a deity worship here on specific holy days.
- Spiritual Counsel
- Tola provides guidance and advice to the clanhold's membership on a case by case basis.
- Hospital
- The chapel also serves as a hospital for those in need. Long term patients stay in a nearby house established as a healing ward.
Staff
- Head Cleric
- Tola is a Tabrani woman who performs missionary work amongst the Malys. She oversaw the establishment of a more permanent church within the clanhold.
- Master of Healing
- Chaela, a Malys herbalist and healer serves as the chief physician for the hospital. While she has adopted the faith, she holds no clerical rank within the church.
- Acolytes
- A small number of acolytes from the clanhold, usually no more than seven at a time, study under Tola's guidance. Those who show real promise are sent to the Tabrani city of Pianira for further education and training.
History
- Established in 399 YG, the chapel has become a destination for members of the clanhold who have adopted the Twinned Goddess as a patroness. while regular attendance at services is not common, the holiest of days see a larger gathering of the congregation. While converting the Malys is a goal held by the church, Tola is left to establish how that will be achieved, and she works hard to integrate the beliefs of the Malys into the doctrine and dogma of the church. She has had some success with this approach, and has plans to further her mission into neighbouring clanholds in the future.
