Common Names
Pike
Long bodied fresh water fish with a wide flat wedge-shaped head. Predatory on other fish species, and other small animals which it can catch beneath or on the surface of its waters. Capable of growing to impressive size, these fish are a staple in the diet of fisher peoples throughout Anexea.

Notable Sub-Species

Shoal Pike

A schooling subspecies of pike which is found near rocky reefs or sandbars in fresh water lakes and rivers. They tend to remain smaller in size than typical pike.
