About

Common Names
Lyurk are pack hunters which roam most of inland Anexea, from Krolar south to Wejir. They are nomadic and follow herd species as they migrate. Stopping only to brood their young during the dry season.
Physically these creatures do not outwardly appear to be predators. They stand on two legs which end in long toes, and have a thumb of sorts, allowing grasping, and climbing. The heads of these bipeds are fairly blocky, with a set of curled horns spiralling out to the sides. Their nose is a dexterous appendage on its own used in various behaviours, and makes up for the lack of substantial fore-limbs
The main attack behaviour of these animals is to charge a herd, and knock prey to the ground using their horns. Once prey is down, they finish it off with biting.
