Appearance

Jähna has grey eyes and brown hair streaked with silver, which he keeps in a single braid. His face sports a patchy beard, and an obviously broken nose. His shoulders are humped, and he walks with a notable limp. He dresses in red and yellow wool, with a leather tunic, and hat.

Personality

Jähna is neither particularly clever nor dim-witted. He enjoys his work and family time equally. He is supportive of the church, but not a very religious man in his own right. He has also shown a jealous streak regarding the attention his wife gets from others in the village. History

Jähna is the owner and operator of The Jetty, a tavern in the fishing hamlet of Jël. His parents moved to Jël in 368 YG, and established the tavern within a year of their arrival. Jähna inherited the business only a few years ago, but continues to share the space with the hamlet's priest as a chapel and meeting hall.

Jähna's abrasive behaviour regarding his wife has made him a few enemies, and the local priest often finds himself acting as a mediator in the interest of keeping things peaceful in the hamlet.
