About

Origins

Geography

Most Drolac are found living in independent villages dotting the length of the Darlom Mountains in alpine meadows and forests. A Drolac minority is found within the population of Fahdel's Purchase.
Few Drolac are found in other cultures or nations. Their reasons for leaving for extended duration vary from wanderlust to exile. For shorter trips it is usually to engage in trade with nearby Treahni or Qulani settlements.

External Relations

Drolac are seen as slow and simple folk. They generally do not establish large settlements and tend to be reclusive. They seem content with their pastoral existence living in remote areas away from the more populous cultures.
Drolac
Drolac seldom travel great distances, but villages will have limited contact with neighbouring settlements, mostly for trade. Drolac are usually cordial towards other Drolac.
Pëlöryk
Drolac will avoid Pëlöryk if possible, they do not go looking for fights, but will defend their territory from raids when necessary.
Etausi
Drolac only know of the Etausi Daut by virtue of overlapping geography. Relations between the two cultures are generally on a case by case basis, beginning as neutral except for trade, or possibly a common threat.
Qulani
Drolac and Qulani are on reasonably friendly terms. They will trade and respect each others territory.
Sildaryn
Drolac and sildaryn have no contact with each other.
Treahni
Given the scattered nature of Drolac settlements, most will only know of the closest Treahni culture. Relations vary based on the neighbouring cultures attitude towards the Drolac. Generally neutral, seldom interacting except for trade.
Attempts to conquer or subjugate the Drolac usually fail due to the Drolac home field advantage. Such efforts are rare due to the lack of immediately useful resources to be gained from such endeavours.
