As a curios shop I don't exactly specialize. Almost anything has passed over my counter at one time or another, however, I tend to avoid perishables after the melon incident. You look like a discerning individual, might I interest you in a mummified girel paw. Its previous owner lost it to me in a game of chance. It seems the lucky charm was no match for my lucky dice. A conversation piece at worst, a charm against pick-pockets at best. - Daegtios

History
Daegtios owns a curios shop in the Waejiran city of Jaedur. He buys and sells all sorts of items, and has a reputation amongst the Low Market as a fence. Just about anything can be found on his shelves, or for the more discerning clientele the back rooms of his establishment. As a chandler he is a bonded guildsman, and holds a license to operate his shop. Any negative reputation is offset with the guild through regular payment of additional fees (bribes) he provides to his guild to assist with any legal problems he might encounter.
Daegtios owns a single slave, Vocias, whom he employs as a bodyguard and watchman for his shop, a large man whose body bears many a scar from the blades of would be thieves and muggers. For a man named "beast" his reputation is fearsome and apropo.
The Melon Incident

In my early years, I was convinced by a rather well spoken man to take some large moon melons for sale. They normally last quite awhile, and are a popular fruit, so I figured I could have them available as a nice refreshment for my customers. I had even tried a sample, which was ripe and delicious, the rest of the cart however, was not. Thing is they weren't even melons, he had mocked up some fake melons using hide, and very convincing paint. I was impressed with his work; once I had discovered why they weren't getting any riper. I actually tracked him down, and commissioned a few items for my personal use, but now I never look at fresh fruit with such naive eye. - Daegtios
