Tall, well toned, and lean. C'tag keeps himself in good physical shape despite his age. He is an attractive man by Aralian standards, with light brown hair, and hazel eyes. He wears his hair short with a receding hairline and widow's peak, and seems to be perpetually two days past his last shave. He generally wears a leather jerkin and pants, with a few bits of light armour to protect himself when on the job.

Personality

C'tag is a rowdy man when he is relaxing, and a deathly quiet and still man when focused on a task. He tends to be quite calm in combat, which unnerves many less experienced opponents. He is quite clever, and has excellent memory for faces, names, and places. He is also a highly ethical man, who keeps his word, and will do almost anything to keep his honour intact.

History
C'tag, like most armed men of Aralia, was a sword for hire with one of the great families. When his age got the better of him, he had to retire from regular military work. To make ends meet, and because his skill set was rather focused, he became a bounty hunter. He is rumoured to have killed another bounty hunter in self-defence, when the claim jumper, who thought they could let him do the hard work of tracking down a mark, tried to swipe his prisoner and get the reward for themselves. This only happened the once though, as word got around to deter others from attempting the same.
First Bounty
Terrible. Not for the fighting which was necessary; that I can handle. It was the spring and it rained constantly for something like a pair of ten-days. Everything was mud, or water, or muddy water. My quarry slogged through it all, and I had to try and outpace him to get set up in wait. Arailia is normally much drier than that. Which I appreciate as I'm often out on the roads and such.
Most Difficult Bounty
That's got to be one I actually failed to complete. There were a few, but the worst would be this guy or girl who was a thief. Bugger escaped custody three times. Apparently cut off his or her own fingers in the process from what the jail guards told me. Who does that? Anyway, this gender ambiguous jail breaking thief is the slipperiest customer I have ever tried to capture. Don't know what happened either, bounty is still outstanding. Something like a thousand crowns or some such. I think they fled over the mountains to Kythus, but can't prove it, and foreign kingdoms aren't the friendliest to sell swords hunting other people.
Most Interesting Bounty
I had to... uh, chose to... spend a significant time in a brothel as my quarry was known to frequent the local establishments and was quite the regular customer. I hung around for nearly six days before he showed. I'm glad he did as my purse was running low; what, with the drink and other pursuits while I waited. Turns out the guy was ill with some flu or something, and just wasn't feeling up to his usual activities.
Present
C'tag takes jobs when and where he can find them, and isn't opposed to claiming dead bounties. His patience and use of ambush as a means of capture has earned him his nickname "C'tag" ("Mantis"). C'tag generally works alone, but will hire on extras for particularly difficult bounties or when pursuing more than one bounty at a time. Being retired, he sets his own hours, but as "a man's gotta eat", he feels the need to find work whenever his purse gets below thirty lilies.
