Description
A tall herbaceous plant with alternate pairs of leaves rising along the stem. The flowers of this plant are a vivid blue array of tubular petals around a central cone with a second smaller flower 3-5 centimetres above the first.Blue balm leaves have a pleasant aroma, and are used to compliment fish dishes. Eaten raw the leaves have a vulnerary effect promoting general health.
