Blood Shoot
Description
New shoots of this herbaceous plant are blood red in colour, which fades as the plant matures and leaves form. The young shoots can be rendered down to produce an excellent red dye for textiles. The roots of the Blood Shoot are used to slow the onset of ingested poison. The leaves when mashed into a poultice have an analgesic effect.
