A short middle aged man with prematurely silver hair and grey eyes. His left cheek bears a long scar from just below his eye to mid cheek. He wears fine robes, and is always carrying a leatherbound book. When he is talking to people he tends to turn his head to the left.

Personality

Bajeprana can seem distant and aloof due to his partial blindness and deafness. He is possessed of an insatiable desire to learn about the world. While he does not feel comfortable traveling, he does seek out those who do to interview them about their adventures. He is aware of the limitations from his partial disability, and self-conscious of the mannerisms he has developed to cope with it. If his behaviour is addressed indelicately, he will shut down and withdraw from the conversation; claiming he suddenly remembered he had an appointment to keep, or some other plausible excuse.

History
Bajeprana is the lastborn son of a poor beggar living in Tuln. The sixth and last child, as his mother died in childbirth, his father was unable to care for him. Thanks to arrangements through the church of Pëölüva he was fostered with a family in Saf while still an infant. He knows of his father and siblings, but has not made any attempt to contact them despite having three decades to do so.
Apprenticeship
His keen intellect and curiosity caught him a break from the scraps and rags of the urban poor to become a scholar like the man he most admired, Akwätröna, who advised the Wyna. After learning all he could from Akwätröna, Bajeprana moved to Kemop Hyläböm to better situate himself at a cross roads of information. He has tutored many of the local noble children in mathematics, reading and writing, but his specialties are local geography, history, and folklore.
Partial Blindness and Deafness
In 794 YG, Bajeprana caught a infection in his left cheek, which abcessed and had to be drained, leaving the scar. The infection ruined his sight and hearing on that side, and as such he turns his head to the left when speaking with individuals to better see and hear them.
